Glencoe Residence
Glencoe Residence is built around an existing large curvaceous swimming pool on a one-and-a-half acre site in Glencoe, Illinois. Designed for a couple with four young daughters, the house is a simple, two-story residence with the master suite located on the first floor, with the children’s bedrooms, a large playroom, and servant’s quarters located on the second.
The entry area, dining room and kitchen feature brick floors that match and blend with the exterior brick walks and terraces, and hardwood floors with matching wood ceilings throughout the rest of the first floor area.
