Courtyard House
This house is set atop a ravine and held back from the street, with large expanses of glass opening out to the rear (ravine side) of the property. The home is organized around two wings: In the south wing are the kitchen and garage, and to the north is a two-story volume containing living and private spaces. Nestled between the two are the house’s living, dining, and entertaining spaces.
Vertical cedar siding and metal and glass windows establish a neutral palette for the building.
