Ernest Grunsfeld Interviewed for Chicago Architects Oral History Project
In January of 2004 GSA Principal Ernest Grunsfeld was interviewed by the Art Institute of Chicago as part of its Chicago Architects Oral History Project. Conducted over the course of 7 days, the 281-page interview focused on Grunsfeld’s own career as a prominent Chicago area architect, as well as the life and work of his father, Ernest Grunsfeld Jr., noted architect of Chicago’s Adler Planetarium.
